CICF Announces Partnership with Selflessly

Indianapolis, IN: The Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF) and Indianapolis-based Certified B Corporation, Selfless.ly have announced a partnership. CICF is providing fiduciary support as a not for profit partner for Selfless.ly meaning that all charitable contributions made via the Selfless.ly platform will pass through CICF.

According to a 2017 study by Cone Communications on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), 70% of Americans believe companies have an obligation to take actions to improve issues that may not be relevant to their everyday business, 87% of Americans would purchase a product because that company stood up for or advocated for an issue that they care about, and 73% of Millennials who work for a “purpose-driven” company are deeply engaged with their work and employer.

“Only 23% of Millennials who work for a company that doesn’t have a stated social purpose are engaged with their work and employer,” quotes Rob MacPherson, CICF’s VP for Development & Strategy, from Deloitte’s “Purpose Over Paycheck” Generation. “It is clear that more people are expecting their employers to provide benefits to the community as well as to their employee. Working with Selfless.ly is a natural fit for CICF. Our goals and culture align, providing access to corporation social impact for companies with as few as six employees or thousands.”

Selfless.ly, a turnkey corporate social responsibility platform, is the first of its kind to provide all the tools necessary for companies of any size to make a bigger impact in their community. Selfless.ly released its beta program to companies in Central Indiana and looks to make key hires in early 2020 in client success, engineering, and sales.

“Working with CICF is a natural fit for us,” says Selfless.ly founder Josh Driver. “Both of our organizations value transparency, which is increasing in demand. We are thrilled to partner with CICF to help so many local organizations connect with socially responsible corporations here in Indiana and beyond.”

Selfless.ly’s platform is now available for companies to empower their employees in workplace philanthropy. By giving choice to employees and seamlessly tracking & managing all corporate volunteering/giving, Selfless.ly is a natural choice for any philanthropic company. Selfless.ly won the 2018 Demo Day pitch at StartOut Chicago, was a finalist at Techpoint’s Mira awards for new tech startup of the year in 2019 and is a graduate of gBETA’s first Indiana cohort.
